Dr. Leo Pruimboom is a physiologist and medical biochemist. He holds a doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He has devoted his life to developing psycho-neuro-immunology as a clinical science, turning it into a solution-oriented discipline that treats the body as an interconnected whole in which everything happens everywhere at the same time.
Career
In 1987 he founded the European Academy of CPNI and began collaborations with numerous international universities. Today the Pruimboom Institute, which he founded and directs, trains physicians and other health professionals in clinical psycho-neuro-immunology on campuses around the world.
He plays a central role in the cPNI chair run jointly by PNI Europe, the Pruimboom Institute and the University of Granada at its Melilla Campus.
Scientific work
He has spoken at more than two hundred congresses worldwide and has published six books, many book chapters and more than forty scientific articles. Besides clinical psycho-neuro-immunology, he is also the creator of the concept of Intermittent Living which offers practical strategies against the burdens of modern life.

With Cellavia
Our partnership with the Pruimboom Institute forms the scientific foundation of the cPNI approach at Cellavia. Dr. Pruimboom’s idea of "complete medicine" shapes the way our programmes treat the body as a whole rather than in parts.
