Movement is one of the body’s most basic needs. Physiotherapy turns this need into a measured, safe and sustainable plan that matches your capacity.
What is it?
Physiotherapy is a health discipline that assesses and develops movement capacities such as strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and endurance. In our clinic, physiotherapy goes beyond rehabilitation after injury and is treated as a fundamental part of healthy ageing.

How is it applied?
Your physiotherapist first assesses your movement capacity: your posture, joint ranges, muscle strength and balance. Where appropriate, your spiroergometry data are also included in the plan. A personal movement programme is then prepared according to your goals and the demands of your daily life. The programme consists of mobility, strength, balance and recovery work.
What happens in a session?
Sessions are one-to-one and guided by your physiotherapist. Each session builds on the previous one; the level of difficulty is increased gradually according to your body’s response. At the end of the sessions, you agree together on short, practical routines you can continue at home.
Who is it considered for?
Suitable for those who have been inactive for a long time and want to start again, those with recurring pain, older people who want to maintain their balance and strength, and athletes who want to improve their performance in a deliberate way.
Points to note
If you have acute pain, a recent injury or known cardiovascular disease, the programme is planned after, and in line with, a physician’s assessment.
