Stress affects our hormones, hormones affect our gut, and the gut affects our immunity and our mood. cPNI reads this cycle as a whole.
What is it?
Clinical psycho-neuro-immunology, or cPNI for short, is a holistic approach that brings together knowledge from psychology, neuroscience, endocrinology and immunology. Its central question is: why did a complaint appear, and what cycle keeps it going?
The founder of the approach, Dr. Leo Pruimboom, is a member of the Cellavia Scientific Advisory Board, and the cPNI protocols in our clinic have been developed in collaboration with the Pruimboom Institute.

How is it applied?
A cPNI assessment begins with a detailed conversation. Your health history, when and how your complaints began, your sleep and eating patterns, your sources of stress and your social life are discussed. Your laboratory and cellular measurement results are assessed together with this story.
The resulting plan is a lifestyle plan made up of nutrition, sleep rhythm, movement, breathing, stress management and, where appropriate, applications based on hormesis.
Who is it considered for?
It may be considered for adults with complaints that cannot be explained by a single organ and seem interconnected, such as persistent fatigue, broken sleep, digestive complaints, recurrent infections or a long-term stress load.
Points to note
The cPNI approach does not replace existing medical diagnoses and treatments; it is used alongside them, as a complement. Any ongoing treatment remains the responsibility of your own physician.
